The phone number for the hotel was wrong on Expedia so we struggled to get in touch with them to let them know about our late arrival however our driver was able to contact them for us - so just make sure you’ve got the right contact details in case you need them! "Overall I am quite happy with my stay. Read about the water pressure problem in the reviews and was a little apprehensive at first. Turns out the water pressure was very good, at least in the 2 rooms my and my friend were staying in. Some room for improvement in the administration but I'm sure it will be better the next time I visit the hotel. I'll likely stay again when I come to the area again. "

"We had a lovely stay at this delightful bungalow which was the ex governors bungalow built 110 years ago. Very friendly staff who made our stay very comfortable preparing packed breakfast for our early start to Hortons Plains."

"Excellent stay, the best we had in Sri Lanka! Beautiful, modern, and well thought out villa, with tons of space. Wonderfully modern bathroom on top. Great view over the tea plantations. Staff are so friendly, brought us dinner from a restaurant and then a delicious breakfast. Would highly recommend!"
