We lucked into finding this place tucked away in the Northern part of Grenada. The drive to get there was a little brutal (my first time driving on the left side of the road, in the dark and during a pretty heavy downpour), but once we arrived we were in awe. The place was beautiful, the owners and staff couldn't have been nicer and the accommodations were great. We enjoyed a few cocktails and then sat down to a delicious dinner. The view from our cottage and from the restaurant is amazing....

We visited Grenada for two weeks while our daughter was a student at St. George's University for the Pre-Vet Camp for high school students. We had never considered visiting prior to this and we weren't sure where we were going to stay or what we were going to do. This is a very nice hotel close to the best beach on the island. The staff is outstanding. The best service we have had in the Caribbean, and comparable to luxury resorts worldwide. We had booked for transportation through the staff to the hotel from Saint Georges. It was a perfect little getaway. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our room had the most beautiful view (nutmeg 1). Next time we come to Grenada we'll spend most of our time here
My wife and I had an excellent stay at the Maca Bana! We were upgraded to the coconut room on the first night and the room and view were stunning. My wife's breath was taken away. There is nothing like staying in a villa on a mountain and having total privacy but beautiful scenery. Phillip the manager was very helpful and friendly and our taxi driver Rickey was awesome. Our time at Maca Bana was truly special and when I return to Grenada, Maca Bana is where I'll be staying.
