"What a beautiful location! We used the trains and buses so the hotel was very convenient. Someone was there to greet us upon arrival but there is a self check-in that is helpful when arriving at various times. Breakfast was available at an extra charge but can be eaten there or taken with you. The shower is in the room so with four people there was a little less privacy and space but beds were comfortable and it is very quiet. "Wonderful location next to the castle. A short walk from the train station. We were able to leave our stuff before check-in and after check out in the storage room which was very convinient. The manager was very nice and helpful, he came to great us and ask about our time at breakfast which was lovely. He even had skiing suggestions for us. The room was nice and spacious, perfectly fitting 4 people. We also had a big balcony. Breakfast was nice with plenty of options. "

"Great place for us to stop for a night. Bus is steps away and delivered us to the train station. Very friendly staff who took the time to assist me with self checkin. I didn’t even have to ask for help! Would definitely recommend this property"

"We loved our time at stockalpenhof, from the minute we walked in the door we were welcomed by a very friendly lady, who made us feel welcome, showed us the ski/ bike room for our skis and gave us our discount card for the region which we used at the thermal bath in a near by town and the ice cream shop right next door, we would return and recommended to our friends, a very easy walk from the trainstation up bahanhofstrasse."

"Comfortable hotel. Although some areas were a bit tired, e.g. bathrooms were very old, everything worked. Room was comfortable and the family room was actually two separate rooms with a shared entrance and bathroom which worked great for us. Brig is very quiet and all of the shops were closed when we arrived at 19.00 on a Wednesday in July so nowhere to buy food."

"I found this property average from a location, general amenities and hotel staff perspective. The reception staff were not helpful nor courteous. I inquired about the “spa” and use of it was dismissed as too complicated. I booked this property specifically because of the pool and other spa amenities. In my seven nights, I wasn’t able to use it once. Makes me wonder if it’s even operational. On the other hand, the restaurant staff were very pleasant and I enjoyed the buffet breakfast. The...
