We had a one-night stay at the Tides and wish we had more time there. The entire establishment was immaculate. The crepes at breakfast were divine! Everyone was friendly and looked for ways to help us have a wonderful stay. Will definitely stay longer next time.
Part of the charm of this great B&B is finding and getting to it. The road gets narrower and narrower, and you are very aware of the charms of rural Ireland. The B&B was well maintained and clean. There is a den downstairs and access to an outdoor space, but we did not use during stay. Our room was basic but very comfortable, spacious enough for two beds, and had a lovely view. The innkeeper is a wonderful hostess and baker. Our made to order breakfast was delicious and more than generously...
Aoife and her husband Seamus are ably assisted by their son Dermot in keeping this excellent hotel at the top of the list for places to stay - and eat - in the area near Ballybunion & Tralee. The fact that this family-run hotel is a wedge to the clubhouse at Ballybunion Golf Club is another plus.

We had an amazing stay at the Bay View hotel. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was included and it was very good. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone!

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ireland as a must stay. The hotel itself was luxurious without being pretentious, the staff was so very helpful, it is centrally located to beach in Ballybunion, sightseeing in Killarney and the ring of Kerry, and a short drive to Adare and neighboring sights. EXCELLENT stay! We arrived extremely late after a long day sightseeing. We were greeted by an extremely friendly front desk clerk (wish I got his name) who immediately checked us in.
The following morning, we went in search of the Castles dog. We found him doing his job, right in front of the castles entrance! Grounds were lovely, Irish people have to be the absolute kindest people on earth!

Very well located on the outskirts of Tralee. Lots of parking on site. A shopping center within walking distance (3 minutes). Excellent breakfast with lots of choices.
