"Just a minor issue! Everywhere we stayed in Iceland, there was no fee for use of hot tub or sauna! I believe this should be included in our stay! Not the case here!"

"We stayed in a second-floor room with a sloped attic-style ceiling. Unfortunately, the bed was positioned directly under the lowest part of the ceiling, which was extremely low. We accidentally hit our heads multiple times during our stay, making the room quite uncomfortable. The breakfast was okay, but fairly basic. The hotel does provide Wi-Fi, which worked well, however there is no TV in the room. Another downside was that there was no way to regulate the room temperature, which made it difficult to adjust for comfort. The window coverings were also in poor condition. The drapes appeared worn out, because of Velcro that been attached to the window to help keep them closed, which felt like a temporary fix rather than a proper solution. Overall, the stay was acceptable, but the room layout and maintenance issues significantly impacted our experience."

"had a great experience at Hotel Hamar. From the moment I arrived, the service was excellent. Ines at the front desk was especially friendly and welcoming, making check-in easy and helping create a positive first impression. The restaurant staff were also very friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was good with a nice variety of options. One of the highlights of my stay was the hot tub, which offered beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenery. Overall, this was a wonderful stay with great service, comfortable accommodations, and beautiful surroundings. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to others."

"This is a nice hotel. It is an easy location right off of the road. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We stayed in a newer section, which was very clean and bright. We had a view of the river. The water pressure was great and the water was hot. An extra bonus was a heated floor in the bathroom and a heated towel rack. Much appreciated in the chilly Iceland weather. The room was spacious and the bets were comfortable. We definitely recommend this hotel."

"We loved our stay at Golden Circle Cabins. The cabin felt brand new, was very clean, and had tons of windows, which made it feel like we were surrounded by nature even while inside. The beds were comfortable, the water temperature was great, and the kitchenette had just enough of what we needed. Check-in was super easy, and the location was perfect for ending our Ring Road trip before heading into Reykjavík the next day. It was a lovely, peaceful place and an amazing way to start wrapping up our Iceland adventure."
