Villa Caprichosa Hotel is stunning & very comfortable. It is located on the hill and has beautiful views of the ocean. We stayed at La Choza cottage - 2 bedrooms & 2 baths and outdoor shower. Diana, the owner, is very nice and welcoming. Juan Carlos, manager, was very helpful and arranged pick up/drop off to the ferry. The Vista restaurant on the property is fantastic as well. Perfect hotel for a couples weekend or family trip with older kids.
The room was clean like new. The air conditioner worked great. The shower was soothing with good hot water. The cafe food was excellent and the choices were many. The staff was excellent, especially Astrid at the front desk and Mayia in the restaurant and coffee shop.
Older property but very clean. Loved how quiet it was. We had an ocean view room. Loved sitting on the balcony watching the ships come by for the canal. Would definitely stay here again!

I read some reviews before booking and I wasn't really sure about staying here. But we decided to book anyway because we didn't want to stay in the city we wanted a beach resort. And although the water recedes most of the day. It was a beautiful resort. Relaxing and calm. Organized and clean. Staff was helpful and friendly. Don't always go off bad reviews. The hotel was BEAUTIFUL and in such a great area (Casco Vieja). I love the fact that you could totally hang out at the hotel at the bar, spa, or at one of the many restaurants. The only suggestion that I would make is for the rooms with terraces, to chairs to the terrace. We loved going out on the terrace, but there was no seating. However, even with this suggestion, it would only bring my rating down to a 9.5.
It’s a spectacular mountain top setting. Quiet, beautiful modern rooms, great pool, long steep walk to beach but worth it when you get there. Staff goes out of the way to be helpful. Came to find us in jeep on climb up from beach. A welcome kindness.

My husband and I stayed at this property for my birthday, and it was a wonderful decision. Top notch service with great restaurants and proximity to many attractions. One highlight was the friendly willingness and capability of James to coordinate a last-minute private trip to Portobelo for us. Our booked excursion was cancelled at the last minute. We informed James and he made sure my birthday wish came true. We had a wonderful visit!
This is a nice hotel with a good view of Panama City, Panama, during the day and at night. Very large room. Modern decor. Clean. Continental self serve breakfast is OK. It does not have a beach.
I love everything about your hotel, staff was excellent especially Andre' from the restaurant he works the evening shift he took care of us. Food was excellent. Kevin from reception did a great job and also yonnay the bellmen. Housekeeping always made sure we where good. I would recommend your hotel.
