The hotel is close to everything in Sligo, the staff are exceptional, and the standard is very high. We have traveled around Ireland these past two weeks and it’s probably the best place we stayed at.
The location was great, both for views and for convenience. The facilities were good, onsite parking was easy, and breakfast was delicious. Best of all, our hostess Noreen was cordial, helpful and kind. She wrote out directions to the national park, answered our questions, and had cookies ready for our arrival. Thanks for helping us explore northwest Ireland!
We really enjoyed our short stay at the Waterfront Hotel and hope to return some day. In lovely Dungloe right on the waterfront, it's walkable to the village and perfectly positioned for strolling the bay front. The modern and new hotel is quite comfortable and smart without being fussy. From the minute I arrived this was just the perfect place to stay. The dome was spotless, cozy and just one of the best spaces I’ve stayed in ever. The private hot tub was the icing on the cake. Loved staying here.
Arnold's is a wonderful hotel. It is right across the street from the "strand" (aka waterfront) and is the BEST place to stay in the northwest coastal region of Ireland. The people are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. It is located on the "main" street through town (there is only one street) but is still a quiet, restful place to stay. The room was very clean and convenient for me as I am handicapped. I just can't say enough nice things about Arnold's!
