"There is nothing I didn't like about this property. From the minute we checked in we were made to feel so comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble.

Our room was on very top floor - narrow steep staircase between mid and top floor. No lifts so everything had to be carried. Room was spacious and some lovely touches to welcome us although a mini fridge would have been great. "

We were really close to everywhere we wanted to visit which made life a lot less in the car and more time to explore.We would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends!"

Reception seemed to be constantly closed, with the request to call a mobile number if you needed service (including checking out) - so three stars only for the overall experience. We did not see many other guests, and the bar area was not open. Maybe it was just a blip and we arrived on a bad weekend. Location-wise, this was a good base from which to explore...
