"One of our highlights during the time we spent in Japan. This is a cozy traditional Ryokan. The building is a little older, however that only adds to the charm. Staff were kind, helpful and welcoming. They also offer great dining experiences, where we enjoyed the BEST dinner of our entire trip. Additionally, the private onsen areas were sublime. Views and location is also stunning. Super happy we decided to spend two nights here and strongly recommend!"

"Great location for the hotel to see both the Shinhotaka ropeway and the Kamikochi park. Inside it was clean, quiet and, of course, great private onsens. 2 indoor and 1 outdoor. Water was very hot, but relaxing. Will definitely book again if we're back here"

"very nice hotel and everything is new. The onsen pool is small but water quality is high and very clean. The room is featured with modern designs and fairly new. Wifi is fast and bed is western style and very comfortale to sleep on. Dinner and breakfast are healthy and good. The service was best in class. Highly recommend this hotel."

Breakfast selection was good with complimentary welcome drinks and evening noodles. "Our Japanese style room was a great experience with an amazing view of the mountain, river, and waterfalls. The half board dinner and breakfast were excellent meals and they accommodated our vegetarian diet (with advanced notice). And best of all the numerous hot spring options were so relaxing and amazing. Had we known it would be so great we would have stayed longer!!"

Our dinner and breakfast were served in a private room, and the room has provided the toys to kids so that we could enjoy the food. Staff are always helpful and friendly.
