"The Giraffe Lodge Arusha is excellent value for money and the staff are incredibly friendly. We spent the night here before an early morning flight to Zanzibar (only 10 minutes to the airport which is one of its big plus points). We had dinner and watched Tanzania play a football match with a bar full of locals which was a great experience. The food is really good (dinner and breakfast), the room was clean and the staff could not do enough for us It is a real local’s area which we love away...

"We stayed for 1 night when we were passing through to Ngorongoro. The staff were lively, special mention to Emmanuel and Flora. Breakfast was lovely omelettes made. Just a bit rough around the edges and as 2 women travelling alone, we didn’t feel comfortable walking out on our own. Others were doing it though. "

"Hotellet svinger sig op til 3 stjerner fordi der var mange søde mennesker blandt personalet, men også en del ikke særlig servicemindede. Største problemer med hotellet er at det ligger i centrum og trafikken er forfærdelig lige meget hvor du skal hen, og så er det også midt i et natklub kvarter. De spiller sindssygt højt udendørs musik, nogen gange helt til kl 4 - 5 om morgenen. "
