"RThe room was simply filthy, from the front door all the way to the bathroom, and gave off a foul odor; you’d have to be pretty brave to take a shower in a bathroom like that. The laundry room was downright disgusting: a veritable breeding ground for bacteria. The photos on the website don’t match reality; everything is dirty and the atmosphere is unpleasant... In short, avoid this place at all costs. )"

"Booked this hotel after immediately canceling our 3 night stay at Mainstays Cedar Bluff and it was night and day. Place was much cleaner and the staff was very accommodating to us extending an additional night. The hotel room was quiet and the breakfast was delicious with a healthy amount of selections. Only small gripe we had was the firmness of the mattress but that's only because we are side sleepers. Lovely hotel otherwise!"

"Long check in times, one employee trying their best to handle the ridiculous check in process, had guests backed up to get checked in. Smells like it has been on fire. Paper thin walls, and no carpet in room made for an extremely loud room. Blinds for windows didn't work. Silicone around tub and sink looks like an amateur did the work, shower sucked, control valve would not stay in position kept falling and making the water scalding hot. Tub drained slow, standing in soap scum by the end of shower, washed my feet under the faucet after exiting the shower. Amateur that painted bathroom had paint all over the mirror and all towel racks like a land lord special. The baseboard style air conditioner did not keep a consistent temperature and was extremely loud. Without a doubt the worst holiday inn express I've ever stayed at. Hell one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at period. This is at best an $89 dollar a night hotel, not nearly $200 a night. Definitely disappointed, and will definitely find a different place to stay when I return."

"Old run down place. Looked ok at first but dead bugs in light fixture, stuffed splashed on walls by sink that needed wiped off. Poop not open thus time of year but probably never is"

"We absolutely loved this place! The owners were the best and so helpful! We had a tire in need of air and they helped us get it filled and were so kind. The room was wonderful! It was clean and comfortable. The bathtub was amazing and the water was hot! I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful area and lots to do if you love the outdoors!"

"The last visitors soap was still in the shower (thought that was kind of gross) and no toilet paper was left in the room. Staff was fine to deal with. I guess you get what you pay for!"

"There was an issue with my reservation but Malaya at the front desk went far beyond what I expected to get the issue resolved. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only problem I encountered was the noise in the middle of the night from loud cars in the parking lot and nearby street."
