"The location, it's absolutely breathtaking. Nothing compares. Sitting on the deck, watching the bird feeder and seeing all the different birds swooping in, the coatis running around. The food is pretty good too but keep in mind, you'll end up having dinner here. Can't recommend driving at night if you want to eat dinner in La Fortuna. The grounds are well-kept and the trails are good. You can easily walk the whole day. Don't forget to go to the Nest for a good view. "

"We came here for honeymoon and the place was really cute, private, tucking in a rain forest. Staffs were knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast in another property which you need a car to or they would pick you up. Menu was fantastic, lots of options, with great view of the volcano, thus honestly the best breakfast we had in the entire trip. We were so sad leaving this magical place. Only thing to suggest was that wifi was kinda weak in our room, but other than that, super happy with our stay."

"Balcony offered great sunset views. Hotel had awesome view point with humming birds and great trails to experience nature as well as peacocks right on property. It's conveniently located near all activities and property is well maintained. Staff is great , very helpful. "

"Rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable bedding. Great water pressure in the shower. Absolutely stunning views from the porch! The pool is cold but it is great to lounge by it after a day of hiking. Breakfast was simple but filling. This property is a hidden gem and a grear value for money."

"An absolute gem of a hotel located literally in the jungle. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed and great walk-in shower. The patio overlooked the jungle with a perfect view of the Arenal Volcano. Our breakfast and dinner meals in the restaurant were superb. The steak was perfectly cooked and delicious and the $38 bottle of Chilean Cabernet was surprisingly good. The grounds of the hotel make you feel like you are living in the jungle and we were greeted one morning by a friendly coatimundis which was a real treat. We are looking forward to our next visit to this wonderful jungle retreat."

"I wish they had more storage/shelf space in the room. But it’s a boutique hotel and they usually don’t. I had a great stay here. It is close and walkable distance to whatever action is in the town."
