"The location for snorkeling is excellent with 10 min boat rides to healthy coral. The water around the lodge is unfortunately now with some litter from Mabul village. Come for the snorkeling and scuba diving (which we did not do."

"This is an old a little run down but for transfer divers it is great . My dive resort offered to pick me up at the airport the next morning for free , I opted to pay a taxi driver 50RM , about $15 USD . So worth it because the town is fun at night , many local restaurants, many gift shops , even a place to exchange money . Massage was about $25 USD , legitimate massage . The seafest hotel is at the ideal spot but that was sold out . This one was perfect , I even had a great view of the water . Keep in mind the other half of the rooms face the street , but a busy vibrant street ."

"We stayed in a twin room. While not large, it was as expected. The room was clean and the beds very comfortable. Air conditioning was very efficient. Great value for a comfortable stay where we didn’t intend on spending a lot of time in the room. "
