Hotels in Lamar

Came in for one night to watch a show at the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Memphis. Quick half hour drive into the city, but much safer location than staying closer to the theatre. Rooms were very clean, staff were very helpful and courteous, and the overall stay was wonderful.

Comfortable, quiet, and pleasant! The owners are very friendly and made great conversation. It really couldn’t have been much better.

the room was clean and very comfortable and nicely furnished. the bed was very comfortable and the bed sheets were clean and soft. air conditioner keep room comfortably cool. breakfast was very organized, food was tasty and plenty. the hotel staff was professional and friendly. the hotel lobby is very inviting, furniture is clean and again the word comfortable just explains the overall likability of this hotel. I will stay here again.

When I arrived, the attendant was friendly and helpful and let me check in early. I noticed later that as a different front desk attendant was checking in a customer, she was just as happy and friendly as the lady who checked me in. The breakfast was good with eggs, turkey sausage, Canadian bacon, etc. The only real negative was that I could hear noise from the hall and from my neighbors when I was in my room. Happily, I did not have noisy neighbors.

The location of the hotel was close to everything that I needed. There are plenty of restaurants within a couple of miles. The hotel was older, but it was very clean and quiet. Which for me means a lot. The front desk staff in the afternoon was super friendly and helpful; the morning staff at checkout...not so much. She was not very pleasant! I did not have time to enjoy the breakfast. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

Jermy at the front desk was the most professional and concerning worker I ver seen in my life!! He always asked me was I ok with my stay, did I need anything to please just let him know, & gave me information for bar and drink menus…Very nice service and nice hotel!! Worker (Jermy) at the front desk should b a manager as good of service he gave me!!! Thank you
