"Sitting in the airport, waiting for my flight to leave Puerto Plata airport. This was a very good trip. The resort has numerous buildings dotted around the property. They all have 8 units each in them. The buildings are all a bit dated but functional. Our room was clean and cleaned every day. The electrical outlets were sparse. And all outlets except the bathroom were only 2 pole. The food was great. 2 ala carte restraints, but you have to make reservations for those. The breakfast lunch and dinner buffets were also very good and varied some every day. A couple of different snack areas also. Drinks are good and unlimited. Beach is great, depending on what time you go, you may have to spend time hunting down chairs. Same with the pool. Excellent entertainment. Nightly shows are very good with very talented performers. "

"Mold in rooms, dismissive staff. I’ve traveled many places I know resort food and this is bottom of the barrel only two restaurants open and it’s impossible to get a reservation with all these people. DO NOT COME HERE . There is mold in the lampshades and all up the wall of the shower and when approached about it the “ guest services” woman Angelica laughed in the our faces and told us that the room having mold was impossible despite photo evidence."

"I love how cozy and inviting the hotel was. The staff greets you immediately upon entering, they are very friendly. Being able to Lounge by the pool with adequate seating as well as many options for seating on the beach was a humongous plus. This hotel offers you privacy, Tranquility as well as feeling very intimate. The dinner options were also phenomenal."
