I had a great stay at the Midi Guestrooms in Martigny. I needed a central location as a launch point for exploring Switzerland. The manager Patrice was very helpful and provided a guide for Martigny. The facilities were clean and the room is comfortable and secure. Martigny is a great town with great restaurants, rich culture and activities. Overall, this place was fantastic. The hotel did not disappoint. Only complaint is we were in the area during the “off season”, and all the surrounding businesses were essentially closed. But the breakfast alone at this hotel is reason enough to go back if I ever find myself in Switzerland again.
Staff are amazing, service beyond 5-star! The most professional team we met on the whole TMB. The luggage room is immaculate, tidy and very secure, such peace of mind. Without doubt the best accommodation on the trail. Highly recommended!
Stop here for two nights due to weather . Good time to relax in middle of TMB and observing CCC running. Convenient places near bus station and train station. Only issue is too many flies in room and restaurent.

This hotel was a wonderful surprise. It is a bit outside of Chamonix center, which we were not expecting (in the Argentiere area, only a 10-15 min train ride but too far to walk) and can be inconvenient late at night as public transportation closes early. A perfectly adequate hotel. We ended up staying here for three separate nights at the beginning, middle, and end of a trek in the nearby mountains. I have nothing bad to say about the hotel, but also can’t say there is any reason to stay here other than the convenient location. All of the staff were very friendly and very helpful.

Beautiful mountain setting. Cozy room. Wi-fi free. Delicious breakfast extra. Super friendly and helpful staff. Within 5 minute walk to Flégère lift. Nearby bus stop will take you to the center of town which is about 3 miles.. Too far to walk, so know when busses run. Ski pass will allow free access to transportation. Missed getting to visit L'Aiguille du Midi due to cloud cover. It is supposed to be spectacular. Has a jacuzzi, but didn't use. Looked nice
This was one of the most exceptional experiences I have ever had. The drive up the mountain was a bit nerve wracking, however, the setting was surreal. The accommodations were clean, rustic elegance. The view was sublime and the food was exquisite. There are many, many summer and winter activities to participate in. This place is worth traveling across the ocean to stay at!
