Amazing hotel, super clean, very friendly staff. The hainanese restaurant next door is a big plus point too! Only con is that the hotel is a bit far from.. well everything! Could not walk anywhere, mainly because the infrastructure of ipoh is very VERY car-centric but also because of how far away the hotel is from most all places. For me, the experience staying here was worth so much more than the small cost per night. I stayed three nights and was able to tour Cameron highlands and spend time with the family working at the property. I took a hike through the jungle, cooked over a fire, and saw the local neighnoring village. I came here looking for a different experience than what the hotels had to offer, and what I found was a peaceful oasis of nature and traditional livelihood in a modernizing agricultural region.
