Nice hotel right at the end of the Stoos funicular. Staff were very friendly and the room was clean. Not a lot to the room but plenty of storage space and served us well for a 2 night stay. Plus the views with the balcony doors open were fantastic.
My only complaint is they charge for everything! 15 CHF per night just to have a coffee maker in the room, 5 CHF for a kettle, etc. But the shop across the way sells coffee for 3.50 and pastries so we opted for that most mornings.

Clean and roomy room. Excellent staff with positive attitudes! Good buffet breakfast. It was unseasonably warm when we stayed but they helped us out with a fan which was very much appreciated. For dinner: although fondue was out of season they let us order it with a couple hours notice. It was absolutely delicious!!
A wonderful retreat in Emmetten. The scenery from the resort is stunning and the staff are equally friendly and welcoming. We had dinner at the resort’s restaurant and the food was excellent - would highly recommend!

Unique hotel with very cool antique furniture, which was a nice touch. Very interesting decor and lots of attention to detail as well. Our stay felt like being transported back in time!
Dinner here was a culinary experience. The chef and staff were excellent and the meal was superb. And breakfast was awesome! It’s important to note that the food is also locally sourced and homemade, and delicious too!
Only drawback was that the beds and pillows...
The location was amazing. You will need budget for the cable car ride to the hotel. The only downside was the cable car stopped at 7:10 so you can't spend an evening in the town od Weggin. Other than a amazing stay.
An excellent bouquet hotel, large brand new rooms with a kitchen, the hotel is less than 5 minutes from the train station and main shopping. Lena was great, she made sure everything was perfect. I would stay here every time I am in Zug, hopefully it is not full.
The hotel is very clean and the staff is quite welcoming. The rooms are nice...but small. Just understand that there is no AC in the rooms. This is apparently very typical for Switzerland...so it’s not that this hotel is specifically lacking...just know what to expect going in.
The breakfast that is included with the stay is very good. WiFi is also included, however it had a tendency to be pretty spotty.
The room was really spacious and had an awesome lake view. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They give you a free bus pass to use during your stay. You get on right out front and it takes you to the city center or train station in about 15 minutes. Very easy and convenient. After a day of sightseeing it was nice to come back to our room, make some hot tea, and slip into a cozy robe and slippers. I also thought the price of the room was very reasonable considering how expensive...
Great room, cozy and with some personality (not a cookie-cutter hotel room- wood panels, comfortable chairs, etc.) Incredibly beautiful view of the lake and mountains with a small balcony. No AC, as is expected in Europe, but provided fan and open windows kept the room comfortable in late July. We had an awesome time and absolutely loved the apartment. There was one main bedroom and then there were 3 additional beds, which worked perfectly for us. The drive to Zurich was only 20 minutes and there were great restaurants and stores nearby so we didn't have to travel very far. The entire apartment was extremely well kept and clean. I would definitely recommend this place if your looking for an inexpensive place to stay not too far from Zurich.
