I was very pleasantly surprised with how amazing this place was! The lodging is above a very nice restaurant, that was very easy to get to with an abundance of parking spots. The room was very nice, and I could tell they went above and beyond with providing any utility I could possibly need while away from home. The complimentary breakfast was incredible. I’d definitely come back again.
Our stay at Hotel Blue Mare was wonderful. Our room had a beautiful view of the harbor in Novigrad. The room was clean and well maintained. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous during our stay.
The breakfast in the morning was also wonderful with many delicious options. We hope to stay here again the next time we are in Istria.

We couldn't have asked for a better start to our trip! Nestled in a quiet village just a 15-minute drive from the airport, this place is a gem. The hosts welcomed us warmly despite our late arrival and whipped up a great dinner. The room was big, the shower was fantastic, and breakfast was delicious. Waking up in such a serene environment—yet so close to the highway for our drive north—was absolute perfection.

We booked the hotel based on the proximity to the airport and were DELIGHTED by the
attentiveness, and overall standards of this sparkling, charming little gem set in the Slovenian hills - complete with a running brook and frost covered trees. The overall standards - room, service,cleanliness, & comfort- were a treat for two road-weary travelers. Would definitely recommend; will definitely return.
Yes, it may seem like you are out in the boonies but actually you are only 20 minutes or less from town using the bus which is right across from the hotel. We did several times and it was wonderful, the staff explain how it works and it went off without a hitch. and it you enjoy hiking the mt trail is just down the road, I did one morning and my brother did the next.
