Great hotel, clean and nice

We stayed there for 19 days. The property was beautiful and the staff was very friendly. The restaurant served delicious food. The free breakfasts were always good and the service was great!

Going to CR by myself; the staff at Gardens House were awesome. They treated me and those I met that also stayed there very well. I will def return to this place when I come back.

Took a while to find the place but when I arrived, finally, the hotel looked very inviting from the outside. I had the upstairs suite with a nice balcony overlooking the pool. The only thing was when I got to my room and it was late when I checked in, I didn't realize until an hour later that the cold knob in the shower was broken. No worries though, early next morning I was moved into another suite with my own private garden next to my bedroom. Thanks guys!

We have always enjoyed staying at this property because it is clean, quiet and has the best breakfast in town. We fly in from Oklahoma and often arrive in San Jose late enough we need to spend the night before going to our home on the South Pacific coast. This is a place you can count on being a good quality hotel.

Victor, manager at hotel, was so kind upon check in. I had a long journey to San Jose and another one the next day. He did everything to make me comfortable and welcome. The garden in the back is so inviting and lush. I felt safe and cared for. The next morning I was taken to the airport for my next flight. This hotel is only about 2 miles from the airport and has free to shuttle the morning after stay, although my taxi to hotel from airport was only a couple of USD. I chose this...

Everyone was so friendly and helpful from desk to the cleaning staff. Service was impeccable. I love the restaurant. The food was excellent and the drinks were the best I’ve had. We went there two of three nights and I regret not being able to go our last night. I will definitely be back when I return to San Jose

We had an excellent stay and would absolutely return on our way back to San José! The property is absolutely beautiful, with gorgeous tropical plants everywhere you look. One of our favorite spots was the peaceful meditation lounge overlooking the koi fish and the magnificent mango tree—it was the perfect place to relax and unwind after traveling. Convenient location near the airport, really helpful and friendly customer service they went above and beyond to get us transportation to the next city that we were heading to. We came back the last day and they storage our suitcases while we went around town because our flight was at midnight and they allow us to use the installations to take a shower and provide us with towels for a small fee. We were floored when we first saw the view and the room! It is so special and our first night was quiet and romantic. The grounds are gorgeous. The staff was exceptional! We only had a couple of complaints and when we had the complaints, the staff was eager to help in any way possible. We stayed one night prior to leaving Costa Rica. The hotel’s shuttle picked us up at the Sansa terminal and brought us directly to the property. We stayed here last year on our trip to Costa Rica. Last year, the young woman who works the front desk was extremely helpful to us, so we came back this year. This woman helped us get our backpack back that we accidentally left in a hotel in Manual Antonio, making numerous phone calls back and forth, ultimately arranging to have the bag delivered to another hotel near the airport in San Jose. This is a well located property with a nice breakfast included. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Room was modernized and very comfortable. Easy walk to the 3 major museums.

The hotel is located on top of a mountain with great expansive views. Its very cool at night but warm during the day. The cabins are cozy but have cooking facilities. The pool is refreshing. Javier does a great job making guests feel comfortable. Breakfasts were included and very tasty. There's a lot to do in the area. Poas Volcano, Grecia, and Sarchi is closer. Highly recommended.
