"The Rose and Crown is a little inn just above Porthcawl. It’s old, and charming, and the rooms are in need of a little bit of updating—-new carpet would go a long way! But the beds were very comfortable, it met our needs, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. We had a light dinner there, and it was delicious."

"We were in Swansea for 1 day so it served its purpose. The staff were friendly and helpful. They have a small bar but the taps were not working. We were able to get an Uber into the city centre (about a 5-8 minute drive). There is plenty of free parking at the hotel. There is a McDonalds next door but that is about all you can walk to, its sort of an industrial area along the motorway. It was fine for our purpose (football match) but if I was staying longer Id likely get something closer to...

"Checked in slightly early and was no problem. I was also told I could use the pool faculties and so glad I did, beautiful pool and relaxing beds to read a book or chill afterwards. Bedroom very spacious and so quiet, this to me is very important as started work early the following day. Couldn’t make breakfast as left at 5am so they really kindly offered me a packed lunch, I stay away most weeks and have never been offered this before. Will certainly be a regular now on my business trips in...
