"What a gem of a place. For a first timer in HMB, I was very impressed with the layout of this hotel. Only guests are allowed onsite (so our car felt safe); almost every room has a view of the bay; we got a free bottle of wine and glass-free wine glasses to take to the giant jacuzzi! The staff was so very helpful (the young male with the curly hair!) and he recommended the Bodega Head hike—which was phenomenal. Free continental breakfast (formally served to our table) RIGHT ON the bay. Thanks, Inn at the Tides!!"

"Great location and very relaxing resort. Everything needed at one’s fingertips. A great place for boaters and kayakers. There’s a wonderful restaurant that serves excellent local oysters that is situated with the best views of the bay and distant hills. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning."

"THE HOTEL IS VERY NICE! I would have given it 5 stars if not for the bathroom fan. According to the staff member at the desk when we checked out, the hotel has a central system that runs on a timer to clear steam, etc. from the bathrooms. Unfortunately, none of us (3) DID NOT shower at the right time when that system was timed to run. On the last day of our 2 night stay while we were leaving the room with our luggage on a cart and no one was in the shower, the fan finally came on! Surprise! I would certainly suggest some type of manually operated fan be installed, if possible at this point. It was like a sauna even after a short 5 minute shower, and, the walls were noticeably wet, which can lead to mold! It surprised me that this construction flaw would exist in a place that is otherwise an upscale property."
