"I think this was one of the nice hotels i Kota Kinabalu. Not too new and some better maintenance is possible, but for the prices offered, it's definitely OK. My observations from that hotel and from the next, in Sandakan, show that probably in all Malaysia (or at least in Borneo) there is something to be improved in housekeeping. It took some effort to receive towels, there were some chambermaid's hairs on the floor... things like that are definitely not the best, even though I won't remember...

"Our stay was specifically to accompany our mom for hospital surgery, which is just a 3-minute walk from the hotel. The room was spacious and spotless. Many thoughtful amenities were provided, including good Wi-Fi and a large TV, and we especially loved the capsule coffee machine. The service was excellent, with friendly and very helpful staff. This was our second stay at this hotel, and everything was perfect."

"i stayed this hotel about 7 years because of it location. And my 3rd time stayed this year. i used to put my money in my hand carry luggage at a paper bag every time. But I lost all the money RM850 when I was home in Hong Kong. i feel very disappointed to the staff. Every time I would give them tips before leaving. "

"Im in Australia. I speak English. Promenade looks daunting from the outside, being an older building. Reception was professional. I arrived at 01.30am which was no probem. Room is basic but the bed is the BESTBEST. Coffe, tea, water bottles and aur con all there"

"These guys know what they're doing. Absolutely amazing communication immediately after booking. They send you all the details. And tell you to update them when you're on your way. So if you're lost they will help you find the way. The interior design, the lighting, the quality and finishing, the marble used. You would think you are at a 5 star hotel. But the prices are waaaaay more attainble and what you're pay for. You are getting a bargain. Just the quality of toilet paper they're using...
