Hotels in Pistol River

"From the outside the place looks old and run down, our room though was updated and clean. Some to the updates (texture on the walls, shower) were not done to a great quality but this is not a high-end hotel. Our room was large and the balcony had a nice river view (The deck was a little worn). We were able to watch some seals/sea lions playing in the river while we were sitting on the balcony. The only issue we had was that the floors squeaked and were a bit noisy. The wifi was fine and for what you pay it was a nice convenient location."

"Staff was great they were short handed on cleaning staff so we had to wait to get into our room. They keep in clean but definitely need some work on things coast air does the number on the wood and paint. Love the view there. It’s still a nice place to stay and the beds are pretty comfortable. Is was my daughters 25 birthday and she wanted to to go to the coast we enjoyed the hot tub and breakfast in the morning was nice. I would stay there again. We also had her dog . "

"There are two kinds of rooms and buildings at this hotel. If you get the one near the beach facing the ocean, I bet it’s nice. It looks a lot newer. Unfortunately, I was given a room above the reception that has a weird hallway and windows that don’t lock. It did the job while traveling through, but just barely."

"We loved our room. It was like being at home. Well, like a small apartment. The bedroom was in a separate room. It had a full kitchen: stove, microwave, full size refrigerator, coffee maker, and toaster, plus utensils and coffee cups and glasses. I'm sure it had things to cook in or on, but I didn't check. Everything was very clean and our room was nice and quiet. They have free wifi and netflix. We really enjoyed our stay and will return again at some point."

"Clean room. Grab n go breakfast was a nice surprise! We got in too late to use any of the amenities. Will definitely stay again next time."

"Im rating good as the bedding isnt warm enough for colder/damper weather without having the noisy heater running. Mattresses comfortable and room was clean and roomy with refrigerator. Carpet looks aged but I'm not in favor of carpet in motel rooms anyway. Overall it was quiet and if I stay again I'll bring a blanket if its chilly weather."
