Hotels in Delaware

"Was not impressed with my stay. The fact that hotel guests have to pay $25 for parking and day guests don't have to pay at all is absurd and backwards. Also it is listed on hotels.com that there is an indoor pool but we were told there was no indoor pool. That was one of the reasons I booked this hotel. The wave pool could have been cleaner. A lot of arcade games broken down. Loading the card with money would say that it didn't go through and yet I was still charged. Cashed in my tickets for a prize to find out that all I got was an empty box when I got home. Hotels.com says the breakfast buffet is between 14 and $22 but it's actually almost 30 and the food was cold. The room was very clean however. The water park closes early for 2 weeks in march so that was a bunmer. The restaurants and shops should stay open later and open earlier especially when there are many guests. This was my first time there and I don't know if I would return."

"The room was nice and clean. The staff attentive and friendly. The only disappointing part was the fact that it said online and everywhere in the resort that they are “cashless resort”. When we wanted to pay for some Arts and Crafts activities, they told us pay cash only. So we had to leave. When I called about horseback riding-same thing with cash only. I had to drive outside of the resort, to find an ATM. Just be aware of that."

"When I arrived for check in the lady at the front desk was very rude,and inconsiderate of my needs for that night @the grand eastonian hotel,when I arrived to the room there was no assistance on that evening I was told when I called in about things not working in the room.She said there was no one to assist me.There was many thing’s that were wrong with the room,that this lady would not assist with during my stay.The lighting at the dining room table didn’t work.We had to eat are home cooked meal in the dark,then the toilet was not flushing properly,and the balcony outside was disgusting.Cigarette butts all over the ground,along with a dead bird out on the balcony,and not to mention,it rained that night,which led to a guest of mine going outside,and stepping into a big puddle to get her shoes,socks,and bottom of her pant legs soaking wet.I love the Grand Eastonian,and I will stay again,but it should of been a little bit more professional by the staff with considering my needs as a paying customer.Thank you"

"So our stay was fine, but as far as bedding; the bed and pillows were horrible. The staff was great we had a hiccup with our TV was handled properly and very fast. Breakfast I did not get a chance to eat being on vacation I didn’t get up until 9:30A so think time for breakfast should have been until at least 10:00A. Location was good and again everything else was great. "
