"This is genuinely a luxury apartment and spotlessly clean. Spacious living area, well equipped kitchen with tea, coffee milk and several options for a delicious breakfast waiting in the fridge when I checked in. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the bathroom had fluffy white towels and all the toiletries you would need and they really had thought of everything, including a booklet with all the restaurants nearby. The location is quiet and free parking was provided at the rear of the property....

"This turned out to be a well run private hotel - i.e. not one of the major chains, but to a similar standard. The usual facilities were present, including fridge, microwave, kettle and hair dryer, with en suite bathroom. I read a negative review from some time back, but had no difficulty in December 2025. Breakfast involved getting 10% discount at the cafe (Poppins) across the road. It was also convenient for the train and bus stations."

"Overall a nice stay. Outside a little off-putting but inside really nice. Notices re heating etc very useful. Most generally good but blinds don’t work very well and that toilet really does need mending very soon - as a female I was hit in the back by the toilet lid several times! Nice and close for exploring the docks. "

"Reasonably nice room with adequate bathroom at a rural site outside Gloucester. Its restaurant was decent. Lots of free parking! Room was very hot, though, and no fan, making sleeping there difficult (kept waking up sweating). "
