Wife and I spent two days at hotel. Breakfast (included) was marvelous and we also took advantage of dinner there as well which was very nice as well.
As we wanted a low key stay, we walked to the Huskvarna Museum and to the shops at Smedben, and enjoyed the billiards and various games at the hotel.
Hotel staff were very kind and gracious and made the stay very relaxing. Room was spacious and quiet and had all the amenities one could want.
Great stay near all the shops and restaurants. The staff was super helpful too helping us find restaurants that were open since we were there in their off season and many were closed. The room was spacious and very clean. 10/10. No complaints!
Our visit blessed us with amazing weather as a beautiful back drop to this gorgeous place. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was so tasty and had a so many choices. The only thing I would not give 5 stars was the service at supper. The food was delish but we were shocked as the the lack of attention and help guiding us through the menu or suggestion local options. Perhaps it was the Swedish to be standoffish.
This hotel is family run, and Lina made sure I was taken care off. In the restaurant she made a special soup for the group and allowed us to have breakfast early. Since I’m traveling by bike a secure place was offered to place the bike overnight. Thank you Lina for a great stay!
The hostel was in a very old building. The kitchen was very nice with everything we needed. Our room, with two bunk beds was very small and rustic. The mattress and pillow were very worn. I think these rooms have had a lot of use and it shows. No light in the hallway. Many things needed attention, but it seemed like this operation has other priorities with its campground, cottages, and restaurant. The restaurant did offer a very good meal at a good price.
