The restaurant and rooms and pool set back from the road in stunning tropical surroundings. Staff so friendly and welcoming and helped us with organising activities and taxis . "This place was special. All the bungalows are set in an enchanting jungle setting along a salt water lagoon, The neighborhood was rural and quiet. The staff was super friendly and helpful. There are a few excellent, low key restaurant across the street and a lovely little village with small minimart and the other usuals north along the little street. If you need a more lively night scene, just walk 300 m north along the beach. "

"I really enjoyed our stay at the river lodge even though it was only for one night. It was very clean and each room was its own little bungalow in the jungle. We had glass sliding doors that overlooked the river. They provided plenty of water and the breakfast was good. They helping with booking of tours. Would stay here again and would definitely recommend."

"Excellent check in and very accommodating staff. Rooms are basic yet comfortable and clean. Hot water with shower and great sized fridge. There were three really sweet dogs in the surrounding area and I particularly liked how the staff at hotel appeared to be looking out for these strays, said a lot about the staff at the hotel so got big thumbs up from me. There's a selection of items that can be purchased to eat or drink at reasonable cost. Staff member on check on was super helpful...

"We stayed here for two nights before we went to Khao Suk National Park. The cottages were very cute, a little rustic. The mosquito netting around the bed made me sleep soundly knowing I was safe from the insects and geckos that may have made it in our room. The food was fantastic and the service was amazing. They arranged a cooking class for us and a canoe trip and they were both great. If you are looking for a jungle retreat this is your place. "

"This property is secluded. Half hour drive to Khao Lak centre. If you are after a total relax, this is the place for you! Just very little to do. Only a couple of simple local restaurants within walking distance if you want more variety than the buffet. Beds and pillows super comfy."
