"Unfortunately this hotel is showing its age and really could do with a major refurbishment. Having said that, the staff are great and the beds are comfortable. We booked a premium room but to be honest it did not feel that premium. For example instant coffee and powered milk is not quite what you would expect. The Italian restaurant was actually quite good, unlike the Thai restaurant which was average at best."

The rooms are comfortable, spacious and the hotel is very reasonably priced. It's not directly in the middle of the night plaza area, but still within walking distance, and it's quieter than right in the heart of that area. The pool is nice and the staff is friendly. Our room had a minor plumbing problem in the toilet when we checked in, but a maintenance man came...

We believe some renovation was happening, which led to noise at times but compared to other properties we stayed at in Asia there seem to be no efforts to keep the general grounds tidy (in particular dead leaves everywhere and the lakes and gardens looked messy).
