My visit was for going to Yosemite both days. It's still an hours drive from here, but worth it when coming from the Bay Area.

There is a beautiful paved walking path along Mariposa Creek, just behind the hotel. It wasn't advertised anywhere, we just happened upon it while taking a walk. It is really nice. Lots of frogs and huge tadpoles.

We ate at a small, but fabulous little Mexican Restaurant with the best salsa I have ever eaten in Mariposa.

Mariposa is a nice little town with good restaurant options and shops.
"The room we got was big, clean and nice, and the staff was really friendly. A shame we only had one night here, we would have liked to enjoy this longer"
"We had such an amazing time at Wildhaven! The tents were spacious, clean, and super comfortable—even better than we expected. Waking up to mountain views and birdsong felt surreal. We especially appreciated the little touches like the cozy beds, warm showers, and fire pits that made the whole experience feel both close to nature and still very comfortable.
The location was perfect—close enough to explore Yosemite during the day but tucked away enough to enjoy peaceful, quiet evenings under the stars. The staff was friendly and helpful, and check-in was easy. We originally booked a tent but ended up upgrading to a cabin because of the heat, and we’re so glad we did. It was the perfect mix of rustic and comfortable.
Highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique and relaxing Yosemite experience. We’d definitely come back!"
"Staff was welcoming. Free upgrade from tent to airstream which was super exciting!! Beautiful property. Lobby was neat! Had indoor and outdoor game options. Pool area was nice! "
"Best property to stay with family if you are visiting Yosemite and other national parks. They have a laundry facility we didn't use. Continental Breakfast included. a store opposite to in case you need some snacks and meds. Very friendly staff and clean place. "
