HB is the coolest beach in OC. Others are snobby, overpriced, and people are rude and self-absorbed, etc. But in HB, the vibe is perfect. Everybody is the same with no drama in race, creed, color or religion. My favorite place in all of California!

One of the best beaches I have been too! Very clean with white powder sand! Lots of beachfront, versus other beaches with not much sand.

Unique? HB was my hometown when surfing and the Surf Theater were the main attractions. Laid-back and caring community then, not so much now. The beach is always wonderful, the ocean will always be my home, so I always come back. Be kind, humans!

Across the street from the beach was very convenient! They have nighttime fire pits on the beach that you can use. You can take firewood and have an enchanting evening around a 6 foot wide fire pit at night on the beach.

Huntington Beach has several amazing restaurants that wont break the bank. Cafe Cup on Warner Avenue had one of the best breakfast burritos I've ever tasted. So many choices.

Kimpton Shorebreak Huntington Beach Resort by IHG

"The hotel was really quite lovely. We did find that the hotel was somewhat to the younger generation. We are in our 70s and we’re not always early risers. We ended up with a room on the inside of the hotel. There’s a lovely courtyard in the middle of the hotel Except they start playing music at 9 o’clock in the morning and we are not up that early next time we now know to ask for a room on the outside of the hotel and that will serve that purpose. They also have people down in the courtyard making s’mores playing games and whatever which is lovely for the younger kids and people that like to party. We figured out that the next time we need to ask for a room that faces the city or on the other side of the hotel and then we won’t have a problem.
I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

"The “Offshore” restuarant offered delicious options, cocktails, and the view of the ocean was amazing! They even offered blankets once it got cool. The retractable roof and wall to wall windows felt like such a high-end amenity. Our server Beth was so friendly and attentive. Memorable experience!"
"Love this place! Quick check-in process, the front desk lady is lovely. Housekeeping is friendly, very clean. Would like pool access, that would've made my stay a lot better since it's been very hot. "
"We were there as part of our 50Th anniversary. We stayed in one of the rooms that have a jacuzzi hot tub. We use to bring our kids to Sunset and Huntington Beach and
Just wanted a few day to relax next to the beach. This motel has a great location. The owner/manager was so nice and helpful. He notified us when our room was ready, which was a few hours before check-in. Steps to the sand."
