The purpose of our trip was for day hiking and Middlebury was centrally located for our purposes. The town itself is quaint. Be aware that nearly all restaurants close at 8PM and many are also closed Sunday through Tuesday, so plan accordingly.

Lovely town - we've visited probably 10 times during the four years our daughter has attended college there.

A small town, not much to do in it, but it's beautiful and has lots of nature options around!

Been traveling to Middlebury for 7 years with 2 men attending the college. Love the city.
"This inn was great! I loved all the historical pieces that are shown around the inn. It is close enough to be able to walk to all the little shops and cafes in town. The staff were wonderful and super friendly. The food in the restaurant was amazing! "
"We had an excellent night staying at this cute motel. Check in was easy and staff was very friendly. Our room was very clean and quiet. We will definitely be returning to explore more of the Ticonderoga area. Thanks for a great stay!"
"Hotel was adorable. If you are not a fan of elevators - you might want to request a room on the first floor. It's the original elevator and can only be operated by staff. Very cool - but very small,"
