This was our first trip to Brighton but definitely not our last! Everyone we met was so kind and thoughtful! The local farmer's market was amazing and the locals who stumbled upon the Gilmore crowd were very patient and friendly to us! Love this town

Downtown Brighton is really cute and hip. The surrounding area is awesome if you are into the outdoor scene. Lots to do to commune with nature.

Lovely town, but most everything is closed on Mondays which is when we were there. So we didn't get to go into any of the downtown shops.

I wasn't able to explore Downtown Brighton while I was there, but it looked very quaint and trendy. I hope to have time to walk the downtown area if I am ever back in this area.

Brighton is a lovely community with plenty of shopping and restaurants.
"The open pool atrium. Didn’t like having a room without a window to the outside. The gym had 3 machines, mat and resist a ball which was a bummer. For that large of a facility! Staff nice, clean, reasonable otherwise. "
"Kensington Hotel on State Street at Ann Arbor is a very pleasant place to stay. The facility is clean, quiet, and convenient. It is relatively small, but offers all the upscale amenities you would like to enjoy. I wish we had time to stay longer so that we could use the indoor swimming pool, the lively backyard, the sauna, and the gym, etc. Their workers were all friendly. William at the front desk was particularly awesome. We arrived quite late that evening. He did not only offered the three adults of us a glass of champagne, but also offered to prolong the open time of the pool if our children would like to swim before going to bed. We have a saying in Chinese, 賓至如歸，meaning “the guests arrive as if they are at home.” William made us feel at home indeed."
"Overall it’s a okay place for a quick stay. They gave us a singular flat pillow for the two of us staying and then when we asked for another pillow they tried to say they didn’t have any and when we were like really one pillow for the big bed? They magically had another pillow. At first we were unsure how the tv would even work we had to have the guy come up to switch the channels to get the remote to work (we thought the batteries were dead) however the only input that worked had about 4 channels and the tv volume was stuck on max volume and most of the controls would not work.
I didn’t see any amenities like a pool or work out room.
