"After considering the reviews I was worried. But my stay was great, especially since I was only in my room to sleep; most of my time was spent out of it. Managed to get early check in at 2:45pm and I think lines form at the elevators because people don’t understand them. "

"The smell of the bathroom is weird, it didnt smell foul but it smells like old and moist. I had to buy a small space perfume. It was clean, i just didnt like how it smelled. Also the pillows smells like sweat. Staff was amazing. Everyone is so nice. "

"Quaint & charming little hotel; it’s truly in the name “little Charlie” Very good use of space! l had a pleasant stay, staff were helpful, breakfast was good. Rooms are rather noisy though, but there is provision for ear plugs… Location was also great, writhing a short walking distance to the Ford Foundation & grand central station, plenty of eateries too including a local shake shack! "

"Conveniently located hotel. Walking distance to subway, good choices of restaurants nearby. As with most thinga in NY, very expensive hotel for a tiny single bed with a miniature bathroom. TV was old and screen was scratched. Staff is decent. Good enough to recommend for a short stay."
