"Overall a good stay. Location is good and within close proximity to many of SLC's attractions. The hotel is a little outdated and needs renovations but if you are looking for a simple stay with no frills, this is the place. Parking is good, complimentary breakfast is solid with good options, pool was cold but hot tub is nice. The gym has a concept2 rower which I used multiple times. Overall a good stay. "

"The room was clean, parking was great, the staff was nice. The building is older, which is fine. Love old stuff. The carpet needs an upgrade. The room we stayed in was great, themed perfectly. A few modern amenities would help such as a place to put luggage, bags, etc. There were only 2 "themed" chairs, another place to sit and a table would be nice. Hotel was quiet. Never saw another person beside staff. "

"Lots of great amenities. Staff was amazing especially Greg. Free drip coffee and indoor skating park. Small discount at the evo store. Bouldering gym was very much enjoyed by the kids (14 and 11) Room was nice and clean but very small. The two queen beds were two full size with a random bookshelf between them so not a lot of room to move around. Overall, great experience and will likely stay again when we’re back in town. "

"Had a nice overnight stay at the Metropolitan Inn. Despite some construction going on in various rooms (remodeling and updated) and the run-down appearance in some areas, the room itself was clean, quiet and super comfortable. All basic needs were covered AND it was affordable - which is a huge plus in this day and age! It's not the ritz, but I was comfortable and would stay there again."

"Enjoyed my stay here. It was very secure, clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. It was an older motel and it was well maintained. The rooms were very clean, as well as the entire location. The parking area is gated and the cars were secure as well as your walk to and from. Also in a good location that is convenient to everything. Would definitely stay here again "

The property/complex itself is great with a pool, clubhouse, and fitness center. All very aesthetically pleasing. The unit itself was very spacious, clean and well put together.
