"This hotel was exemplary in cleanliness and size of the room. It was large and the bathroom was over the top! The bed was comfortable. My only complaint was the smoke smell in the “non-smoking” room. Also, I paid extra to be on the lake side, but very little of the lake was visible."

"In all fairness, we arrived just following a horrendous storm and they had apparently lost power sometime earlier. There was power when we arrived When we checked in, the clerk said we were on the third floor and would need to take the stairs. My husband is 80, and I thought it would have been nice to at least ask if we needed help carrying our luggage. It was 9:30, and it is possible there was just no one available, but an apology would have been nice. Our room was reasonably comfortable - the mattress was ok and the Room was quiet at night. Caulk around the shower was black and looked dirty,but I’m pretty sure it had been cleaned as best as they were able. Breakfast was OK as well. They offered scrambled eggs, sausage patties and waffles, as well as an assortment of cereals and oatmeal. Yogurt was also available. Overall, the staff was polite and all requests were met with courtesy and kindness. The hotel is very close to Midway airport and the shuttle was very convenient"

"A lovely hotel experience. Clean room. I really enjoyed hearing the music throughout the hotel. Vey clean easy fir me to navigate as a handicap person. Helpful an d very pleasant staff! The only and biggest disappointment was the pool/hot tub amenity. I was very surprised to see a bunch of children running around and playing in the hot tub. I didn't know casinos were for family outings. I thought we were having a couples getaway. Boy was I wrong!!! After a long drive we really wanted a hot soak. There are no bathtubs in the rooms either so that made it even worse. Oh well. I was told we could pay $100 to use the hot tub in the private spa."
