Learn more about Tropic
Tiny Tropic serves as the perfect basecamp for exploring the surreal landscape of Bryce Canyon National Park, where crimson hoodoos stand like nature's own sculpture garden. Wake early to catch sunrise at aptly-named Sunrise Point, where first light transforms the rock formations into glowing embers. After dark, the night sky reveals a dazzling carpet of stars rarely seen by city dwellers. Refuel at local eateries before heading to nearby Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument for more red rock adventures. Thor's Hammer and Sunset Point offer frame-worthy photo opportunities without the crowds of larger parks. Book accommodations well ahead in this small town of fewer than 500 souls – the secret of this perfect location along Scenic Byway 12 is definitely out.

Bryce Canyon Inn
"This hotel was so cute! Each room is its own cabin which is nice. The rooms were clean, cozy and close enough to everything we wanted to do!"
Bybee's Steppingstone Motel
"Pretty near perfect. Room was well appointed, appliances were modern, outlets everywhere, blazing fast WiFi (300+ Mbps), tankless hot water heater. Wonderful market/gas station across the street with good food (shrimp tacos!)."
Bryce Canyon Log Cabins
"Very spacious cabin, private and nice. Plenty of parking, shops near by. About 10 miles from Bryce Canyon."
Bryce Pioneer Village
"Clean Room, UP-to-date features in safety Fun place."
Bryce Valley Lodging
"Cozy little cabin and grateful for having refrigerator and microwave. And very nice environment."
Bryce Canyon Country Inn
"We loved our stay here. Very quiet with lots of beautiful scenery. They were upgraded and the owner Lynda is wonderful and very helpful. Please consider staying here when visiting Bryce Canyon."
Happy Trails West
"The room was very clean, loved the balcony. Sat out there whenever we weren't out and about. There was no breakfast here and there was no staff on site. The building is old and requires some maintenance. We did have a bit of a difficult time with the lock on the door due to possibly the door being a bit warped. We loved the solitude there, and just watching the quiet life. There were no amenities here though. So be sure to bring things you want for your coffee etc. The one really bad thing about this place was that the showers were ALWAYS cold. There was very seldom hot water available. We could have stayed here longer and enjoyed the solitude of small town life if we didn't have our whole trip planned."
Bryce Valley Lodging Cabins
"Staff were not onsite to do the check in. You need to go across the street to another building to find the person who does that. Wifi connection was strong but it had no internet connection. Other than that, everything else was fine."
Bryce Trails Bed and Breakfast
"Amazing experience comfortable and cozy Friendly staff And the food was delicious and tasty 😌"
