Lots to do and see. We were there only for 2 1/2 days. We did get a lot done! Lihue itself feels a little rundown. There are some very nice areas as you drive around the island and see the different towns. Lot calmer than Kailua-Kona!

It rains a lot! But it's a slower pace and people are friendly. Beautiful scenery. We spent time with friends who live there so we had fun!

I always love visiting Kauai. However the weather was kind of bad because of the storm it rained both days we were there. Still beautiful and we still made the best of our weekend vacation

It's expensive!!! Especially food. Most meals for two were close to 100 CAD, and that wasn't being extravagant.
"The property was very peaceful. I happened to stay during 'movie night', meaning that they showed an outdoor movie on the lawn (50 First Dates). Easy continental breakfast with coffee and tea options. Very comfortable room. Amazing and genuine staff. I'll go here again on my next visit for sure."
"The outrigger is centrally located to all the desirable sites on the island. Saves greatly on travel time.
On site dining and very close to a variety of off site dining options.
The resort is quiet, beautifully landscaped and well maintained. Staff is pleasant and helpful.
I should be noted that one of the building is undergoing a full remodel so there was some construction noise on occasion.(Late July 2025)
The beach is directly connected to the resort and there is easy access and fantastic views. The area at the resort is not really swimable, but safe areas are just a short walk up the beach. No lifeguard however.
Parking is close but there is a daily fee.

"We arrived after check in time and communication with very good security wss there was there with all the instructions and we went to our units and checked in the next morning. Our condo was well stocked with linens, towels for the beach and bath, and the best stocked kitchen i've ever had in a rental. The down part was not having AC and it was very hot and stuffy the first night. We went and got each of us a fan with more power and it made all the difference. There were plenty of pool and beach toys for our 2 girls. The location was amazing, 10 steos from the back deck to the pool and the beach access was just oast the pool. We loved our stay here and would cone back."
