Cute small town with a lot of history. The downtown area was picturesque and many of the old surrounding homes were colorfully painted. We rode the Leadville Train during our stay which I highly recommend.

The area offers access to tons of recreational activities, but due to the snow, most of those were closed off, but I was able to enjoy my stay nonetheless.

Leadville was a beautiful town up in the mountains. Was able to hit the stores up and have some coffee from the local shop.

Beautiful scenery! A lot of things are not yet opened due to time of year we were traveling through (late april).
"The Evergreen Lodge was the perfect place to stay for our Vail, CO getaway! The location is perfect as it is right in between Vail Village and Lionshead with accessibility to everything we wanted to do! The property was well maintained and the staff was very friendly! We will definitely stay here again!"

"Loved the experience here! I bring my dogs along on trips (it's there first time living also) and this hotel was EXTREMELY dog friendly and the staff was all lovely with them including giving treat, toys and poo bags. They also treated us humans really well everyone we encountered was incredibly nice and accommodating. Corbin checked us in, Nikolai served us great drinks and convos, every valet was superb. Truly one of the friendliest hotels ive stayed at and Ive been to a lot of the large resorts in Breck. It's close enough to town to walk, but their shuttle is easy to use.
As far as nit-picky things: There are big parking fees here and something to be aware of that I was not, but at the end of the day I should have looked into it. The other was the soaps, lotions etc were really lacking and I would bring more of my own next time."
"The location is great! Beautiful keystone lake with paddle boards and restaurants. Hiking and biking trails right there. Shuttle to River Run is very convenient. Dog friendly rooms and common areas very nice. Staff exceptional so friendly and helpful.
The building and rooms need updating it’s an aged facility that needs some TLC! Although spacious and comfortable needs paint, trim and new furniture badly!"
