High Springs a sweet town with friendly people, a fun restaurant and State Parks nearby. There is even a playhouse theater. The Great Outdoors Restaurant had a fabulous band on Friday night. It isn't overly crowded and parking was easy.

The old downtown is just around the corner from the BlueGem Motel. The Great Outdoors was delicious and the service was great. The town looks charming and has lots of kayaking around.
