Ashland has some interesting dining and entertainment. We enjoyed the older, downtown area with train tracks running down the middle of nice food and shops. Visiting the nearby Bass Pro Shops was a special treat.

Ashland is wonderful but I am concerned about the truck stop and the enviromental impact. My niece work for environment state agency and she was appalled that I stayed there.
