Hotels in Garden Grove

"The hotel property and size of the room were nice but parking there is terrible. We had to park on the opposite side of the complex from our room one night. Breakfast was great and they had different options every morning. Most of the staff were super friendly. The fresh towels they gave us on day 3 unfortunately all had long black hairs all over them. The major con was the pool closure. We checked in the night before it closed and were given no notice that it would not be open our entire stay which led to some VERY unhappy kids. We ended up having to pay for the cheapest room we could find at the hotel next door just so we could use their pool. The lady at the front desk did refund our resort fees which helped, but still didn’t cover the cost of the other room. Overall, a decent place to stay but I think next time we do Disney we will find a suite a little closer. "

"We have been staying at this hotel at least once a yr for 11yrs. Staff is always great, a few of them recognize us and always great us and comment on how big our son is now. Dining here is great and Hanagi is our favorite. Housekeeping is lacking sometimes, but overall having a shuttle is nice and is always affordable."

"The Tropicana is clean. The bed was not comfortable, the pull out was not something my teen could sleep on. It was to small and felt awkward. There was also a lot of road noise that kept us up. "

"Great to have coffee throughout the day, yet the tub was not clean upon check in, I saw a large cockroach crawling on the wall, a staff member told my wife that she had to go to her room at 10pm and could not sit in the outside patio area - which was weird and unprofessional. We will not stay at the Hampton Inn in Anaheim again. We'll find a more suitable hotel for our next trip to Disneyland. Thanks."

"Very good breakfast with lots of variety. I never went to the pool or gym so I can't comment on those. Nice and close to the park ( although it says it's about 1/2 mile walk. That's to downtown Disney). My only complaint was our AC never quite worked right. Came on every 30 seconds, stayed on for 30 seconds an turned off. Btwn that and being next to the elevator and ice machine, it was not a restful night. I would betray again and ask for 3rd floor room."

"Well we Prepaid for our room 2 weeks out. We arrived to be told they over booked their rooms and they don’t have 1 for us. The staff did work on getting us another room with a neighbor hotel. We are promised a full refund but nothing yet"
