Downtown Kirkland
Lake Washington shines as the star of Downtown Kirkland, where waterfront paths and sandy beaches invite leisurely strolls. Art lovers can hop between local galleries and the Kirkland Arts Center, while music fans catch summer concerts at Marina Park. The Cross Kirkland Corridor offers scenic trails for walkers and cyclists looking to stretch their legs after browsing boutique shops. Pacific Northwest cuisine dominates the dining scene, with waterfront restaurants serving fresh seafood alongside spectacular lake views. Most visitors stay in charming boutique hotels or bed & breakfasts within walking distance of downtown attractions. King County Metro buses connect easily to Seattle and Bellevue when you're ready to explore beyond this walkable waterfront gem.

Juanita
Juanita's lakeside charm pulls you into a Pacific Northwest paradise without the downtown crowds. Lake Washington sparkles at your doorstep with sandy swimming spots at Juanita Beach Park. Nature lovers can explore wetland boardwalks at Juanita Bay Park, where herons and ducks make surprise appearances among the reeds. Tree-lined streets connect these natural gems with quiet coves perfect for sunset watching. The neighborhood has limited dining options, with just a few casual cafes serving comfort food. Most visitors opt for vacation rentals in mid-century homes nestled among towering Douglas firs, though you'll need a car to explore beyond this peaceful residential retreat.

Totem Lake
Surrounded by a 17.2-acre park, this Kirkland neighborhood features a two-acre lake and is adjacent to the Cross Kirkland Corridor linear park and trail, perfect for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.

Everest
Everest neighborhood gives you that perfect suburban escape just outside Seattle's hustle. Stroll along tree-lined streets with views of Lake Washington before heading to nearby Juanita Bay Park for a nature fix. The peaceful vibe makes it ideal for travelers who want to experience authentic Pacific Northwest living while keeping city attractions within reach. Finding food means a quick drive to downtown Kirkland where local restaurants await. Most visitors stay in vacation rentals or townhouses with full kitchens and plenty of parking. A car is pretty much essential here, though rideshares are readily available for trips to Seattle's Space Needle or Pike Place Market.

North Rose Hill
North Rose Hill offers a peaceful retreat from city bustle with tree-lined streets and family-friendly parks. Rose Hill Meadows Park provides walking trails and open fields for outdoor enthusiasts. The residential streets feel authentically suburban with contemporary homes and manicured lawns. Nearby attractions include The Village at Totem Lake and Peter Kirk Park. Casual family restaurants and affordable dining spots dot the neighborhood, making meal options easy to find. Most visitors stay in vacation rentals or family homes with full kitchens and ample parking. While public transit is limited, having a car gives you convenient access to downtown Kirkland and Seattle's attractions.

Sheraton Grand Seattle
"The Sheraton Grand is a very nice hotel in a good location. Pike Place Market is just a few blocks away. Rooks are a good size. Gym is very nice. Waot time for elevators were kore than i would have liked. Beds were ok. Towels not that soft. Staff was friendly and helpful. Note there is a $30 per day reaort fee. You can offset it with $20 a day food credits and $5 uber coupons."
Mayflower Park Hotel
"It was a traditional city hotel (some might say 'old-fashioned') that was well situated for downtown and the waterfront. Our room was large and had windows on 2 sides. There was some noise from the traffic outside at night. Staff were really helpful and Oliver's was a nice place to snack and have drinks (the classic gin martini was fabulous!)"
Renaissance Seattle Hotel
"Very nice hotel that was close enough to leisurely walk to all the things we wanted to do in Seattle"

Mediterranean Inn
"Rooms were updated and comfortable. Staff was great and very helpful, giving help about food choices in area and help in getting transportation to port for cruises. Loved that they were willing to safely store our luggage when we arrived before our room was ready. The rooftop viewing area is relaxing with a view of the bay, the Space Needle and surround area."

"Ive stayed in a few hotels But this one has been the only one I can actually smell that the sheets are clean , and i feel happy to lay them on my skin , the breakfast area was very clean , staff were on top of cleaning after someone got up from their table , my room wasn't as cold as I would have like but its ok it was only one day"
Coast Gateway Hotel
"It was clean, comfortable and so quiet! I expected to hear plane noise all night but that didn't happen. Super close to the airport and great restaurants in easy walking distance."
