"The bad 1) Reception never responded to my request for a pick-up before arrival 2) Room's carpet had blood stains on it 3) Room smelled like a sewer when I first entered 4) Breakfast food is horrendous. Staff are rude. They stand around and giggle, no customer service. 5) pool area needs a lot of remodelling. also needs staff available to service guests. The good 1) Location 2) Laundry/pressing staff are very nice "

"Traveling to Uzbekistan for the first time by myself was both scary and challenging for me because I couldn’t speak Russian or the local language at all. When I got off the plane, I felt like I had entered a completely different world from the people walking past me. But as soon as the taxi brought me to Diamond Tashkent Hotel, I immediately felt that it was a safe place for me. The front desk staff, especially James, were professional and spoke excellent English. Even though Baxit couldn’t speak much English, he made a great effort to help, and that meant a lot. I was also touched by the kindness and attentiveness of the housekeeping team—especially LOLA, whose smile reminded me of a kind-hearted elder, and Ilvira. I’m deeply thankful to both of these hardworking housekeepers during my stay. Lastly, deep in my heart, I truly hope I’ll have the chance to return and stay at Diamond Tashkent Hotel again in the future."
