"From first appearance, this hotel seems to be clean and fancy. Upon further inspection and a one night stay, there were cockroaches in the room, breakfast was minimal and when scrambled eggs were requested, the staff did not seem to be receptive in taking care of the guests’ needs. Needless to say, scrambled egg was not made, and guest left the dinning area hungry and angry (hangry.)"

I needed to pay buggy car, also needed to pay for the bottle water in the villa, there was this lady whose role is not clear to me asked me to pay cash. All these were not communicated when I made the booking. Basically the property is a private one, not related to the hotel. You can't expect a normal hotel experiece, need to figure out how...

"We booked this in error thinking it was in Hanoi. But Hanoi is about hour taxi ride from there. Luckily, the hotel was brilliant and we visited the most beautiful Monastery high in mountains, beautiful lake and the stunning village where the clouds touch the buildings as it’s so high up , tam dao. These turned out to be our fav places !’
