"It is a cute old home that has been turned into a bed and breakfast. The house staff was amazingly kind. The bathrooms and bedrooms are a tad out dated but everything was clean. 15 minute ride from the main area of Durban where the shops and restaurants are located. "
"I have written a complaint to this property, asking to (1) be put in contact with its owners and (2) ask for a refund - as it is NOT in the state that is being promoted at all... with no luck of decent/acceptable feedback or engagement or response to my requests, basically NO engagement or cooperation at all. I had to leave this property within less than 2 hours of arriving, as I did not feel comfortable to stay there. Of course, this property also does not offer any stay with a refundable option, which is questionable and obvious that it is a questionable operation. This is extremely bad!
I have also requested for this property to be removed from the Hotels.com platform, with no such luck or support and my previous reviews have been taken down... which leaves more questions than answers and very disappointing!
We were also NOT provided with a King bedded room as was booked even, but a Queen bed - clearly visible in the picture provided, that was a fixable problem, but the rest was unforgivable."
"The location of the property is excellent, the room we had was incredible, and the staff were wonderful. I'll absolutely book here again next time we are in Salt Rock. "
"This is an older hotel, with Akzo large suites Werth balconies / or Sea views.
Just a short drive from beaches and popular Ballito activities.
The staff were welcoming and very friendly, while ensuring all my requests were taken care of .
The indian cuisine served at the "Dine inn" restaurant is authentic and very delicious!
Expect issues With water & electricity- these are issues common for the area and not caused by the hotel or the staff.
