"The perfect place to use as a stop-over on the way from Dover back to Scotland. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was large, well-appointed and super-clean, and the breakfast was excellent. Will definitely stay there again on my next trip."

"We really enjoyed our stay, the wood fired hot tub worked surprisingly well and was quite quick, the kitchen was well stocked with pots pans utensils etc. There was a dehumidifier to control the moisture and it really helped dry our swimwear. The adirondack chairs in the morning sun were great for breakfast and the internet was very fast. Bathroom was bit small for two tall people but c'est la vie, the shower was surprisingly great 👍"

"Very nice hotel for what I needed. The guy who checked me in also did the bar and cooked my evening meal, very polite chap. Room was a bit dated but clean as was the bathroom. Bed was ok but wouldn’t want to sleep in it every night. The shower could do with an update. Continental breakfast did the job. Overall I would stay again but I think this hotel has so much potential and is probably a work in progress."

"The decor was okay but there was damage to the panels in the bathroom and dead flies in the light shade. Toiletries were provided which was a nice touch. It is a good location near eating places and staff were friendly. Breakfast was good. A bit more attention to detail and it would be good place to stay. "
