Soak up the sun on Marina di Praia beach, a picturesque cove nestled between dramatic cliffs. Explore the Church of San Luca or take a boat tour to nearby Positano for breathtaking coastal views.
Best views on the Amalfi coast with sunset overlooking Positano. Perfect location for travelling the other key town (Amalfi and Positano) whilst avoiding those big tourist locations. Praiano is also relatively flat through the town centre.

Praiano is a lot less busy than Positano but still very quaint and picturesque. Conveniently located to visit the surrounding area and excellent dining options, including Hotel Margherita's restaurant, Mama.

The only downfall is no ferry service from Praiano which makes if more difficult to get anywhere. Not a lot of shopping but we were aware of this. A special town along the Amalfi Coast.

Less touristy than Positano. Amazing food, cute shops. We will definitely be staying in Praiano again when coming back to the Amalfi coast.

Beautiful and convenient town, easily access to other beautiful towns!
"This is a wonderful resort, from the moment we walked in till the moment we left it was absolutely incredible. The people, the service, the food, the drinks, very special can’t wait to go back."
"We stayed at this beautiful hotel 2 years ago and couldn't wait to come back this year! The staff, the lobby, the rooms, the breakfast, the pool, the food, everything is perfect! The views from this hotel are magical! I can't wait to go back!!!!"
"The property is a great space. Has its own kitchen and outside area. Amazing views !! Lovely hot tub. Giovanni is very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Lots of local restaurants, for breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee or drinks. Close to the bus stop and tourist office. There is a lot of steps up to the property but worth it for the view. Steps to be expected as many properties in the area are built the same. We had a fantastic stay. Thank you ! "
"One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in! Worth every penny during our honeymoon. The staff was attentive and the rooms were spacious and clean. Would definitely recommend to honeymooners. The pool and location were perfect for wanting to either relax at the hotel or venture off down the Amalfi coast. We hope to return in the future! "
"We stayed at Hotel Maresca for nine nights and honestly didn’t want to leave. This place is such a gem. Every morning we woke up to the most beautiful view and had cappuccinos with croissants and Nutella on the patio.
Our favorite part by far was the family who runs it. Antonio is the best. Every single day we’d wave to him or stop to chat and he was always there to help. He gave us tips, mapped out routes, helped us plan around any curveballs. Just a genuinely kind person who made us feel so welcome.
Praiano itself is also such a great place to stay. We’ve been to Positano and Amalfi and while those are pretty, they’re packed and way more touristy. Praiano felt calm and real. Not as remote as Agerola but still full of local spots, friendly people, and everything you’d need within walking distance. There are markets, souvenir shops, and great restaurants all nearby. The SITA bus stop is just steps from the hotel and connects you to the entire coast. Just a few euros per ride and you can grab tickets right next door at the little shop.
Food in town was amazing. Our favorites were Trattoria San Gennaro up by the church and Il Pirata which is right on the water inside a cave. We had dinner and drinks there and then spent our last day renting beach chairs from them. It was 30 euro each for the day and totally worth it. We ordered food and drinks from our chairs and swam in the ocean right in front of us. Pure heaven."
"Antonella messaged me prior to arriving. When meeting her in person she and her staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself is quite something. When we had breakfast we got a view of both mounties and the sea. I would recommend staying here. Thankfully Praiano is in between most of the busier spots so its nice to just come to a quieter place to sleep."
"Absolutely lovely place, the hotel has absolutely amazing views, the rooms incredibly clean and the amenities are top-notch but the best thing about the place is the how kind and helpful the staff are. They are constantly looking for ways to help and improve. Incredible hotel!"
