Dijon's Dijon Centre Ville neighborhood is known for its gardens and offers a host of things to see such as Liberation Square and Palace of the Dukes of Burgundy.
If you're planning a bit of sightseeing head to Palace of the Dukes of Burgundy— just one of the monuments in Dijon Centre Ville. You could also start your cultural experience by heading over to the cathedral in the area.
Darcy Square is just one of the places to see in Dijon, so why not enjoy the other things to explore during your travels? Amble around the area's gardens or visit its cathedral.
I was amazed by the Musee de Beaux Arts. When I went back to see more on my last day I discovered it's closed on Tuesday. I loved the pedestrian friendly centre and the mixture of old and new. I hadn't planned my trip, just wanted a few more days.

The medieval Center of Dijon is well worth visiting-just be aware that because it is medieval that there is little to no parking or vehicle access to the centre. We had to park 500 meters from the hotel and walk our luggage to the door.

Our 1st time in Dijon! A very charming, lovely not too busy town. We had a couple of very nice meals in the local restsurants. We used the local taxi company to get around and the drivers were all very friendly and helpful.

I hope to return as I spent 2/4 days on wine trail so missed a lot of Dijon delights. Very walkable medieval centre, very calm, plenty to explore and admire.

I have visited many cities. Dijon stood out as probably the cleanest of all. Wide traffic free areas. A delight.

Wonderful!!!!"
"Great night at Hotel Vertigo in Dijon, and it was honestly a beautiful experience. My room was in the attic-style section, with sloped ceilings — very artistic and full of character. The interior design was unique and creative, with lovely details that made the space feel like an art gallery.
After a long travel day, I was exhausted, but the reception staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. It made a big difference. I also enjoyed the design of the Nuxe Spa — calm, stylish, and a pleasure to enjoy and relax.
Also Bar was one of the best in town, you have to try! — the hotel has a peaceful and tasteful atmosphere.
Being alone in this beautiful, artistic space, looking out the window at the historic rooftops of Dijon, was truly calming. I felt like I was living in a little dream.
Would absolutely stay again. Perfect for solo travelers, art lovers, and anyone who appreciates unique boutique design."
