We are so glad we decided to spend the last 2 days of our vacation in Rouen, rather than hurrying back to the city. There is so much to see, good restaurants, a warm and lively vibe at night. We highly recommend this historic city.

Rouen must have one cathedral per resident. Go the excellent piano bar near the Saint Maclou cathedral and the Vieux-Marché for food and drinks. The patisserie Gil is world class

2nd visit to Rouen, this time spent 2 days+. I like its med'val, half timbered bldgs, but as a tourist town, it's very inconvenient with the lack of opening hours for restaurants & businesses. Not a place to grab brkfst b4 10AM, no lunch betw 2-7.

We walked around the town, went and had dinner at JM's. great dinner, good service, and good food. We went out to the clock, the cathedral, and watch the light show 1030. We only stayed one full day in Rouen, but I could've stayed two more days.

Some things were closed that we had hoped to visit. Plenty to fill our days.
"After so
Many days in different location, it was so good to have the comfort of a real hotel room! Location is ideal for a day in the old town of rouen"
"Very nice new place. It is spacious, clean, and bright inside. A good grocery store is 10 min walk from the place. The internet is good. The front office people are very friendly. Possible to walk to the old town. Easy to get to the central station. Overall, I highly recommend it!"
"Staying at the hotel de Dieppe was ideal for me, as it was just steps from the train station. American tourists would be pleased to know that the air conditioning is excellent, and for those who have little concern for the environment, the room can be kept quite cool. Check-in and check out are quick and smooth. The personnel is very pleasant and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean. Access to the center and historical sites are minutes away on foot."
"Everything was great, the service, location, the prices, pool, spa, beautiful bar, Stunning architecture and design, size of rooms, comfort of beds, parking. Everything apart from sauna not working. Highly recommended !"
